Outreach Committee

Acting with the Outreach Coordinator, the Outreach Committee aims to create opportunities to introduce Meadowbrook Collaborative to diverse social and professional groups in an effort to gain community visibility and financial support for the organization.

Committee Tasks

  • Introduce Meadowbrook to new community stakeholders.
  • Planning and implementing house party events.
  • Assist in marketing/PR of house party events.
  • Develop guidance on specific strategies to reach out to community stakeholders.
  • Assist with personal acknowledgements to house party hosts and guests.

Membership and Composition of Committee

  • Linda Asche; Jamie Zwilling; Mark Schwartz.

Desired Skills or Experience

  • Passion and understanding for the mission of Meadowbrook Collaborative.
  • Ability to represent the organization in the community and with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in fundraising, PR, communications or marketing is a plus.

Frequency of Meetings

Meetings are held once a month for an hour at a regularly scheduled time (tbd).

Fundraising Committee

Acting with the Outreach Coordinator, the Fundraising Committee is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Meadowbrook Collaborative’s fundraising.

Committee Tasks

  • Monitor financial records.
  • Review and oversee the creation of accurate, complete, timely and meaningful financial reports.
  • Review annual budget and recommends it to the Executive Committee for approval.
  • Monitor budget implementation and financial procedures, and anticipates financial problems.
  • Helps the Executive Committee understand Meadowbrook Collaborative’s finances.
  • Develop long-range financial and capital plans.

Membership and Composition of Committee

  • Todd Brewer & Brandon Oslund, co-chairs; Matt Schadow, Chris Kirwan, and Patrick Ness.

Desired Skills or Experience

  • Passion and understanding for the mission of Meadowbrook Collaborative.
  • Ability to represent the organization in the community and with a wide range of stakeholders.

Program Committee

Acting with the Outreach Coordinator, the Program Committee aims to seek input, understanding that leads to implementation of opportunities relative to Meadowbrook’s diverse population in the areas of health, education and safety.

Committee Tasks

  • Develop and recommend to Outreach Coordinator programs and services to be offered by Meadowbrook Collaborative.
  • Provide guidance and consultation for the Outreach Coordinator in setting priorities for programs and services.
  • Advise the Outreach Coordinator about potential collaborative arrangements with other organizations and providers of services.
  • Ensure that Meadowbrook Collaborative:
    1. Has in place a program evaluation process that measures the extent to which Meadowbrook Collaborative is achieving its mission;
    2. Regularly uses the evaluation data to inform and continuously improve Meadowbrook Collaborative programs;
    3. Uses evaluation data to educate the community (including funders) regarding the work and effectiveness of Meadowbrook Collaborative and its programs.
